Simple and classic, this marble loaf cake is comfort food at its best. Chocolate and vanilla flavors are swirled to create a beautiful pattern. Make your marble cake using a purchased cake mix. You can bake a round layered cake or a large single layered cake.

Instructions to make Marble cake:
  1. Firstly, in a large bowl take ½ cup curd. use fresh curd to avoid tangy flavour.
  2. Add ½ cup sugar, ¼ cup oil, 1 tsp vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk well until the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Place a sieve and add 1 cup maida, pinch baking soda, ½ tsp baking powder and pinch salt.
  5. Sieve the flour making sure there are no lumps.
  6. Further, using the cut and fold method mix the cake batter.
  7. Additionally, add 2 tbsp water and mix to a smooth silky batter.
  8. Finally, eggless vanilla cake batter is ready. keep aside.
  9. Now divide the cake batter in two parts amd add few drops of blue colour in one batter and few drops of pink colour in one batter.
  10. Firstly, scoop 2 tbsp of blue colour cake batter and transfer to a heart shape cake tin.
  11. On top of vanilla cake batter add 2 tbsp of pink colour cake batter.
  12. Alternatively, add pink and blue colour cake batter. allowing to spread naturally. - using a back of the spoon, give a zig-zag swirl to get a nice design without disturbing the layers.
  13. Tap the tray twice to remove the air incorporated into the batter.
  14. Place the cake tray into the preheated oven. bake the cake at 180 degree celsius for 50 minutes.
  15. Further, allow the cake to cool completely and later cut into thick slices and serve.
  16. Finally, serve the eggless marble cake or store in an airtight container.
