Paddu is one of the most popular of recent trending meals in the world. It is simple, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. Paddu is something which I have loved my entire life. They are nice and they look wonderful.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can have paddu using 11 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Paddu:
  1. Get 1 cup Urad/black lentil
  2. Prepare 2 cups Rice/dosa rice
  3. Get 1 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds
  4. Make ready 2 tablespoons Beaten rice/poha
  5. Take Preparing Paddu
  6. Make ready Oil
  7. Make ready Paddu mould
  8. Prepare to taste Salt
  9. Take Carrot
  10. Get 1 Finely chopped onion
  11. Get 2 green chillies finely chopped
Steps to make Paddu:
  1. Wash and Soak Urad dal/black lentils, rice, fenugreek seeds and beaten rice for at least 4 hour
  2. Drain and transfer the above mixture to mixer jar and blend to a smooth paste by adding some water
  3. Add salt to taste to the batter and keep aside to ferment in a warm place for at least 12 hours
  4. Add grated carrot, finely chopped onion and chillies to the batter mix it well
  5. Grease paddu mould with oil, now slowly pour the batter into each of the mould with help of large spoon, reduce the heat to medium and cook for 3 to 4 minutes with a closed lid
  6. Once the batter gets cooked from bottom, slowly with the help of spoon flip it over and cook other side, serve hot paddu with coconut chutney
