  1. Soak both the dals for an hour.
  2. After one hour…put the dals in a mixer jar leave a little dal for adding after Wards now grind dals to a coarse paste…do not add water while grinding.
  3. Take fennel seeds.,Coriander seeds, black Pepper, and cumin seeds and crush them coarsely…keep them aside.
  4. Now take the dal paste in a mixing bowl and add onion, green Chillies, green Coriander, Soaked dal which we kept aside, all the grounded masala, salt,red chilli powder, baking soda and mix well.
  5. Now if you think batter is on a bit liquid side…add Semolina, this will absorb the extra water in the batter and give crispness to Mangodis.
  6. Heat oil in a Pan,leave small dumplings in medium- hot oil and deep fry them till Golden brown.
  7. Moong Dal ke Pakode are ready to bhi Served with chutney or Shaam Ki Chai as you wish.
