To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can cook raita using 7 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Raita:
  1. Take fresh Yogurt or Curd
  2. Make ready medium Onion sliced
  3. Get Cucumber (peeled & chopped)
  4. Take Salt to taste
  5. Make ready green chilli chopped
  6. Take roasted crushed Cumin
  7. Get black pepper powder
Steps to make Raita:
  1. Chill the yogurt. Wash and peel the cucumber and chopped. Chopped green chilli. (Onion slices ko salt lagake ten minutes rakh dain phir wash kar lain)
  2. Add yogurt,salt, black pepper powder and crushed Cumin to a mixing bowl. Whisk them until smooth with a hand beater.
  3. Next add chopped cucumber, green chilli and onion slices.
  4. Stir gently.
  5. Serve raita with pulao, biryani or paratha.
