Open can of mixed fruit, drain the juice out and place in bowl. (I also add my favorite fruit such as red grapes, bananas, and aliced peaches)
Mix in the sliced cherries with the fruit and then add on the raisins. Mix thoroughly to receive every piece of variety as you can.
Add your desired nuts, or opt out if allergic. I love chopped almonds in my salad, pecans will do too, or chopped wallnuts in small pieces.
With a frosting spatula, stir in the whipped topping. I usually use the no name brand, or use the can of reddi whip and stir it with the fruit.
Top of with your mini flavored colored marshmallows. The colorful mini marshmallows come in different flavors and make this dessert more flavorfull.
