Instructions to make Bottle gourd (Lauki) chana dal Kabab:
First peel and remove seeds to lauki.
Cut lauki into chunks and add it to a pan along with soaked chana dal, black cardamom, garlic, ginger, cumin, black pepper, cinnamon, bay leaf, turmeric powder, green chilli and salt, add just enough water to cook the dal and the water evaporates
Now remove from heat and cool it completely.
Once the mixture cool down, remove the bay leaf and grind it in a blender a smooth paste.
Then remove to a bowl and add chopped coriander, mint leaves, chaat masala, garam masala, coriander powder, salt, bread crumbs and mix it well.
Take small portion of mixture, make small balls and little press to make flate shape kabab.
Heat ghee in a pan, place the kabab in the pan, shallow fry on medium heat until the kabab are golden brown on both sides.
Delicious Lauki chana dal Kabab are ready to serve with chutney.
