  1. Take Lean beef mince
  2. Make ready Adzuki beans
  3. Get Dried birds eye chillies

  1. Oven at gas mark 6
  2. Brown off the mince and add some Chinese five spice and chilli powder. Put in the oven pot.
  3. Fry off the finely chopped onion, garlic and all other veg until onion is starting to soften. Add to pot.
  4. Add peppercorns, bay leaf, tomatoes, puree, chillies and beef cube to the pot.
  5. Add the beans and their water, then top up the pot with boiling water to just over 3/4 of the way up.
  6. Cook with lid on for 3 hours then 30 mins with lid off. Season well.
  7. Leave over night for the flavours to enhance, then serve on a bed of spinach.
