Take 1 bowl wheat flour
Prepare 1 bowl leftover dal
Prepare 1 onion chopped
Make ready 1 bowl washed and chopped methi
Take 1 " piece grated ginger
Make ready 2 green chillies chopped
Prepare as per taste salt
Take 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
Make ready 1/4 tsp garam masala
Prepare as required Water
Get as required Cooking Oil for shallow fry
Prepare as requried Butter for serving
Steps to make Dal & Methi Paratha:
Add cooked dal, chopped, grated ginger and chilli in a mixing bowl.
Add wheat flour and fresh fenugreek leaves. Mix all ingredients well.
Knead a soft dough. Add a little water if required as dal already has water in it. I just added 2 tb sp water and kneaded the dough.
Divide the dough in 4 equal parts and shape as a ball. Roll like a chapati. Apply cooking oil on it. Fold it in triangle shape by giving 2 folds. Roll now.
Heat griddle and put paratha on it and roast on medium flame till golden from both sides.
Apply cooking oil on both sides and shallow fry till crispie golden brown colour.
Serve hot with butter or pickle.
