  3. Lastly add in the flour and beaten egg and stir until everything is well mixed and the texture becomes thick enough to form patties.
  4. The oil in the pan should now be nice and hot. Wet your hands then take some of the mixture and form into a pattie. Place the patties into the pan and squish down gently. Fry for a few minutes on each side until cooked through and golden.
  5. Remove then lay upon kitchen towel to remove excess oil. Serve up and squeeze over lemon juice and garnish with a few extra parsley leaves. Perfect with a lovely salad or some veggies. I had these with some honey glazed roasted carrots with fennel (see next recipe for details).
