The ingredients needed to make Radish Chutney:
  1. Get 1 Radish(medium)
  2. Prepare 2 Tomatoes (small)
  3. Prepare 1 Onion (medium)
  4. Take 5 Red chillies
  5. Prepare 1 tbsp urad dhal
  6. Get 1 inch tamarind
  7. Take leaves Few Mint
  8. Take 2 tbsp grated coconut
  9. Make ready 2 gloves garlic
  10. Get 1 tbsp oil
  11. Make ready as required Salt
  12. Prepare as required Water
Instructions to make Radish Chutney:
  1. To a pan add 1 tsp oil and fry urad dhal, once it's half fried add the red chillies and fry till urad dhal is golden brown. Once done transfer the contents to a bowl.
  2. To the same pan add garlic,onion,tomato,tamarind and grated radish.Fry till the raw smell of radish goes off.
  3. Add few mint leaves and grated coconut to the pan and give a quick stir. Switch off the flame.
  4. Once the contents are cooled transfer it to a blender jar except urad dhal. add salt to taste and grind the contents to a coarse paste without adding water.
  5. Now add the fried urad dhal and pulse the blender for few more times till it becomes a smooth paste.Add water if required. Now the radish chutney is ready.
