  11. Take 1 slit green chilli
  12. Get Handful curry leaves
  13. Get 2 teaspoons gingelly oil
  14. Take to taste Salt
  15. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon hing
  16. Take 2 teaspoons tamarind pulp
  17. Get 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Instructions to make Puli aval (Tamarind Poha):
  1. Dry roast methi seeds, dhaniya, pepper separately first and cook on a plate.
  2. Now dry roast red chilli and black til. Cool on plate.
  3. Roast peanuts and keep aside.
  4. Now soak the poha in Tamarind pulp for ten mins. Now add oil in Kadhai it add mustard seeds chana daal urad dhal curry leaves and turmeric powder and cook well.
  5. Once the roasted masala is cool add it with 1/4 cup of coconut with a pinch of salt and grind it to coarse paste.
  6. Now add it to the poha mix well and lastly add peanuts again give it a good mix and serve hot.
