Hey everyone, I hope you are having an amazing day today. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, jelabi. One of my favorites. For mine, I am going to make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.

jelabi is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It’s simple, it is quick, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions every day. jelabi is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few components. You can cook jelabi using 8 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make jelabi:
  1. Prepare 1 cup urad dhal
  2. Take 1 tbsp rice
  3. Take 4 cup sugar
  4. Get 3 cup water
  5. Make ready 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  6. Make ready 1 pinch saffron powder
  7. Make ready 1 dash salt
  8. Make ready 1 oil
Steps to make jelabi:
  1. soak the urad with rice for about 5 hours and grind into a smooth paste to vada consistency.
  2. mix in salt & saffron color while grinding.
  3. in another pan pour water and cardamom & sugar and let it boil for about 15 mins.
  4. simmer and keep it warm
  5. heat oil in a pan for frying. a wide pan is prefered.
  6. use an icing cone , fill it with batter and squeeze the batter in circular motion to form atleast 3 layers , directly into the heat oil.
  7. once done , put it in the sugar syrup, straight from the oil.
  8. press it with a laddle and let it absorb the sweetness for about 30 secs.
  9. remove it from the syrup and serve
