Hello everybody, it is John, welcome to my recipe page. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a special dish, apple custard. It is one of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I am going to make it a little bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Apple Custard is one of the most favored of recent trending foods on earth. It is easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. It’s appreciated by millions every day. They are fine and they look wonderful. Apple Custard is something which I have loved my whole life.

To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook apple custard using 10 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Apple Custard:
  1. Prepare 2 Apples
  2. Get 1 tablespoon Caster Sugar
  3. Make ready 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  4. Make ready 1-2 teaspoons Water *optional
  5. Prepare Custard
  6. Take 4 Egg Yolks
  7. Get 4 tablespoons Caster Sugar
  8. Take 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  9. Make ready 2 tablespoons Plain Flour
  10. Make ready 1 & 1/2 cups Milk *warmed
Instructions to make Apple Custard:
  1. Peel Apples, remove the core and cut into 1-2cm cubes. Place in a saucepan, add Sugar and Lemon Juice, cover with a lid, and simmer until soft. The cooking time depends on the type of Apple. *Note: 1 to 2 teaspoons Water might help cooking process.
  2. To make custard, place Egg Yolks, Vanilla Extract, Sugar & Flour in a saucepan and combine well. Add warmed Milk and mix well. Cook over a medium to low heat, stirring constantly until custard thickens.
  3. *Note: The custard can be cooked in the microwave. Place all ingredients in a heat-proof bowl and whisk well to combine. Then cook in the microwave, occasionally whisking, until thickens.
  4. Add cooked Apple to the custard and combine. Enjoy warm or cold. Today I added some Crumble on top. *Note: I wanted to add crumbled Butter Cookie but I didn’t have any, so I baked Crumble.
  5. How to bake Crumble: Mix 20g Butter, 20g (1 tablespoon & 1 teaspoon) Cater Sugar and 40g (4 tablespoons) Plain Flour to make soft dough. Crumble the dough on baking paper and bake at 160℃ for 10 minutes. I used mini toaster oven.
